After several delays, Anurag Basu’s much-anticipated film, Metro… In Dino, starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, is now scheduled for a theatrical release on July 4, 2025.

Serving as a spiritual sequel to Basu’s 2007 film Life in a… Metro, Metro… In Dino is an anthology that explores contemporary human relationships through interconnected stories set in urban landscapes. The ensemble cast includes notable actors such as Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh.

The film’s production journey has experienced multiple postponements. Initially slated for a November 29, 2024 release, it was later deferred to March 2025. The latest announcement confirms its release on July 4, 2025, bringing clarity to its premiere date.
